Canvas + Standards Based Grading

Savvas LMS integrations cannot support a Standard Based Grading (SBG) approach because it is not yet supported by 1EdTech. While Canvas has a way to enable SBG using their Outcomes features and enabling Learning Mastery Gradebook, that data is not being shared in an LTI-Advantage data exchange.

Several school districts have worked out solutions on their own and have outlined some processes, but this is not something available via LTI-Advantage with Savvas and will not become available until the 1EdTech group mandates it in the LTI-Advantage standards to vendors.
