TCC to LTI-Advantage

The Savvvas Thin Common Cartridges (TCC) are built using LTI 1.1 links. IMS Global has published a Deprecation schedule for that standard and is ending all support for LTI versions 1.0-2.0 on 6/30/2022. 

Districts that integrated with Savvas Realize via TCCs prior to the 2021-2022 school year should upgrade to the newer LTI-Advantage standard as per IMS Global's guidance as Savvas will retire its LTI 1.1 content access in the summer of 2023. 

Districts can upgrade to LTI-Advantage in Canvas or Schoology at any time at no cost, and that integration can co-exist with your existing TCC integration allowing for plenty of time to update legacy lessons in the district LMS to the LTI-Advantage content experience.
