Copying from Schoology Resources could causes grade pass back to fail in some instances
The issue
When copying content from Schoology Resources into your course and enabling grading, Savvas Realize typically labels your assignment as "LMS graded", ensuring grades are passed back to your Schoology gradebook.
However, if you notice that the assignment is labeled "LMS not graded" and grades are not being passed back, this is likely due to the Tool Provider not being configured correctly.
This issue can occur in the following scenarios:
Importing Savvas content from a Thin Common Cartridge (TCC).
Transferring content between different Schoology instances (e.g., from a test server to a production server).
Refer to the example below for guidance on correcting the Tool Provider settings.
What you can do
You will need to edit each assignment and change the Tool Provider from "Automatic, Based on URL" to "Savvas Realize Course Connect."
Is Schoology is fixing the issue?
Schoology is aware of the issue.
