Share link FAQs

Can I share anything with Share Links?
Anything that can be assigned can be shared, such as Playlists, District-Admin Shared Assessments, or just regular Assignments.

What happens if a student is not part of the assignment when a Share Link is created? Will that student be able to access the assignment through the link?
No, only students who have been added to the assignment will be able to access the assignment through the link.

If a student is added to a class after the teacher created the assignment and shared it, will that student be able to access the assignment from the Share Link?
No, only students who are listed in the assignment will be able to complete the assignment. The teacher will need to modify the assignment for the student to be able to access it.

Can I add a student to an assignment after it has been created?
Yes, in Realize, choose "Edit" under assignments to add the student to that assignment. The added students will then be able to access the assignment through the Share Link.

Does Share Links work if an assignment is created within an LTI-A LMS?
Any assignment made within an LMS (Canvas, Schoology) will not have the Share Links option. Any assignment made within Realize will have the Share Links option.

Does Share Links work if a class is already connected to Google Classroom?
No, any class connected to Google Classroom will not have the Share Links option.
